A Fun Place Where Mommy Can Laugh, Learn, Love and Cry

Which brand is the best?
When choosing a diaper brand, I received a lot of feed back from friends and family. I found the best way to see which brand I liked was to simply try the smallest package of each brand and see how they suited my baby and our wallet.
We started out with Pampers for my newborn son. For some reason he always leaked through the top of that particular brand. At that time, we tried Luvs, which I remember not seeing in every store. My mom had used them on me and my siblings, so we had to try them. Luvs seemed to work and were less expensive then Pampers, but once he started becoming more active, we noticed he wasn’t as comfortable in the Luvs. We noticed a redness developing on the inside of his legs like chaffing.
At approximately one year old, we then moved to Huggies, which seemed to offer more of a curve for the inside of his thigh. The redness went away and Huggies was our brand of choice for a while. Of course, as our son grew, he seemed to consume more and more food and the Huggies didn’t seem to do the job at night!
So our next choice was the Target band. A father at the Little Gym was telling some of the parents that he was having a problem finding the “right fit” and the Target brand was the answer! He was on his 3rd child, so we all figured he knew what he was talking about, and he certainly did! We have been using the Target Brand SUCCESSFULLY and we hope to continue to. The best part is the price. 70 diapers for $13.99! I would definitely give them a try!
In between are trials, we tried the CVS brand, while on vacation. I recommend NEVER using them. It was a last resort!!!
Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever used the Kirkland diapers from Costco?
