All moms try to make the best decisions for their children, whether it is choosing the purest foods for a healthy diet or a simple soap. This summer I was searching for the perfect sunscreen and It seemed, to me, that every brand seemed to claim it was completely organic or all natural. I found myself stressing because, as all new moms do, I wanted to start my son off on the right foot. I new it was very important to find a brand that offered UVA and UVB protection and PABA free, but I wanted the most natural form I could find. So the search was on, as I read every word on every label! I was so nervous to choose the wrong one! What if he got a rash or sunburn? What if the chemicals damaged his sensitive skin?

I had tired a few sunscreens, but I wasn't completely sure they were the right choice. I even tried the sprays. Yes, they were the easiest to get on but they made me so nervous! What if I missed a spot and they always smelled so bad!

As my search continued, my father-in-law picked up California Baby from Whole Foods Market before our first family trip to Florida and it has been our sunscreen ever since. The lotion is thicker than most, a little difficult to spread, but as I put it on him, I know it is doing it's job! It has all the ingredients to make this green mom smile, while completely protecting my son in the pool, on the beach, or in his jogging stroller.

I wanted to share California Baby with other moms because of our success with the product and because I just found it was voted #1 in the WebMD for best baby care products! For me, it was the greatest article I ever read! It was like a pat on the back, thumbs up, I was doing something right!
